Be careful not to damage or scratch your jewellery, take it off while you are at the beach as sand is very abrasive, and when you are doing any rough or heavy work – at the gym, gardening, moving furniture etc. All metals become dulled and tarnished from contact with chemicals, so, it's best to remove your jewellery when you shower, swim, spray perfume, apply lotion or exercise. Please do not use jewellery cleaners on pearls and opals. Taking your jewellery off at night will prevent it from becoming tangled or broken while you sleep.

Sterling silver 18K yellow hard gold plated pieces can be re-plated at a cost plus postage. The lifetime of the plating is dependent upon each individual and how the item is worn on a daily basis.
